Position: Fitness Manager/Head Coach

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Certified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor with a recognized accreditation (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fitness management role
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the fitness industry, preferably in a multi-faceted fitness facility.
  • Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and biomechanics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective fitness programs.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • CPR/AED certification (required).
  • Ability to work flexible hours

    Job Description:

    As the Head Coach/Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for leading our fitness team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional training programs. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the fitness culture within our facilities, fostering a community-driven approach to health and wellness.

    Key Responsibilities:


    >Leadership and Team Management:
    Provide leadership and guidance to a team of fitness instructors and trainers.
    Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting professional development and growth opportunities for staff.

    >Program Development and Implementation:
    Develop comprehensive fitness programs tailored to the unique offerings of the Gym.
    Ensure that all programs align with the brand's philosophy and cater to the diverse needs and fitness levels of our members.

    >Quality Assurance:
    Maintain high standards of quality across all fitness offerings, including group classes, personal training sessions, and specialized programs.
    Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure that programs are effective and meet the needs of our members.

    >Member Engagement and Retention:
    Act as a brand ambassador, engaging with members to understand their fitness goals and challenges.
    Implement strategies to enhance member retention and satisfaction through personalized support and exceptional service.

    >Training and Development:
    Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for fitness staff, keeping them updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and certifications.
    Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement within the fitness team.

    >Operational Efficiency:
    Collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiency and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of fitness facilities.
    Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to fitness operations.
