JOB PURPOSE
This role is responsible for developing scope of work based on site inputs and inspection reports, and for
preparing budgetary estimates for materials and service requisitions. The role works closely with maintenance
teams, technical teams, facility maintenance, and contractors to maintain and update the master plan for
both Turnaround and non-Turnaround activities, while coordinating with HSE, Logistics, and other relevant
disciplines prior to execution.
Ensure alignment with Company Turnaround Management System (TMS) objectives including safe, costeffective,
and high-quality execution to maintain plant reliability until next turnaround cycle. Apply Stage-
Gate governance (Gate 1–6) to all turnaround phases ensuring readiness, compliance, and controlled
progression across lifecycle.
The role must ensure that all Turnaround activities are executed within the approved budget and scheduled
timelines, in full compliance with Company Occupational Health, Quality, Safety, and Environment procedures.

Turnaround Budget
Work with the business areas owners to ensure that agreed timings, durations and budgets are
developed for planned Turnaround activities for his assigned area of responsibility.
Develop equipment-level cost estimates and cost allocation (OPEX/CAPEX) aligned with Turnaround
Management System (TMS) requirements and SAP work order structure.
Support cost tracking, variance analysis (Budget vs Actual), and lessons learned integration for future
TAR improvements.
Process improvement and documentation:
Control, monitoring and coordinating of all Turnaround activities including projects and inspection.
Coordination and liaising with relevant team for Turnaround preparation activities.
Report and follow-up progress of Turnaround milestones in preparation for the Turnaround.
Maintain and manage comprehensive turnaround documentation, including worklists, execution plans,
schedules, risk registers, and closeout reports.
Ensure all turnaround-related data is systematically recorded and maintained in centralized systems for
traceability and future reference.
Track and monitor key risks, issues, and action items, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where
required.

Turnaround Execution
Implement the execution strategy for Turnaround scope, including detailed scheduling, resource
optimization, and effective communication among all stakeholders and contractors to ensure timely
completion of work.
Coordinate closely with all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, including alignment on priorities,
issue resolution, and recovery actions in case of delays.
Monitor and control Turnaround progress using schedules, performance indicators, and trend analysis to
assess deviations and implement corrective measures.
Update and manage schedules to accommodate unforeseen or emergent scope during Turnaround,
ensuring all changes are properly evaluated and approved.
Ensure readiness prior to execution by verifying availability of materials, manpower, tools, permits, and
other prerequisites.
Support mechanical completion, punch list clearance, and pre-startup readiness verification to facilitate
safe and efficient startup.
Facilitate effective communication across all teams for continuous progress tracking, issue resolution,
and schedule recovery.
Training Responsibility:
Participate in the on-the-job training of trainees and newly hired personnel within the Section to ensure
that they develop the necessary skills to independently carry out assigned activities.
Support development of team capability in turnaround planning methodologies, scheduling tools, and
best practices.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Turnaround scope and plans
Develop and define the Turnaround scope, including contract requirements, in line with agreed
milestones, and ensure preparation of work packs, personnel mobilization plans, and execution strategies
for shutdown and Turnaround windows.
Act as focal point for technical inputs related to tendering, technical evaluations, and contract
presentations within the assigned area.
Establish, maintain, and report the master planning schedule across all phases of the Turnaround,
including progress monitoring, reporting, and implementation of corrective actions, while controlling
scope changes through a structured process.
Initiate and manage all required work orders and activities in SAP systems with realistic duration
estimates, ensuring timely availability of resources, materials, and spare parts.
Coordinate closely with all stakeholders, including contractors, to ensure proper schedule development
in Primavera, effective resource allocation and leveling, and alignment of execution strategies and job
priorities.
Participate in and facilitate coordination meetings across all disciplines for overall planning, scope
challenge, contractor alignment, and closeout activities.
Ensure implementation of all approved recommendations and actions for the upcoming Turnaround
within the assigned area.
Integrate all scopes - maintenance, projects, inspection, operations, and support functions—into a single
unified execution plan.
Develop and maintain a controlled master worklist, ensuring all scope changes are managed through a
formal change management process.
Lead scope challenge and optimization efforts to ensure inclusion of only justified and critical activities.
Ensure scope development is comprehensive, incorporating inputs from inspection findings, asset
integrity requirements, risk assessments, engineering studies, past performance, lessons learned, and
operational constraints.
Perform detailed scope refinement, including manpower, materials, tools, execution methodology, and
contingency planning.
Plan and manage procurement by identifying long-lead and short-lead materials in alignment with
schedule requirements.
Develop and maintain integrated schedules, including critical path identification and management of
near-critical activities impacting Turnaround duration.
Conduct job interface and clash analysis to ensure safe and efficient execution of simultaneous
operations.
Integrate all phases pre-turnaround, shutdown, execution, and startup into a single coherent and
optimized schedule.

SAP Master Data Maintenance of TAR PM Schedules
Ensure accurate creation, maintenance, and updating of SAP master data related to Turnaround (TAR)
preventive maintenance schedules, including task lists, maintenance plans, and equipment assignments.
Align PM schedules with approved Turnaround scope, long-term planning cycles, and asset integrity
requirements.
Maintain consistency and standardization of master data structures (equipment hierarchy, task lists,
BOMs, and work centers) to support effective planning and execution.
Ensure all TAR-related maintenance plans are properly configured for timely generation of notifications
and work orders.
Validate and update task lists based on inspection findings, OEM recommendations, and lessons learned
from previous Turnarounds.
Coordinate with maintenance, planning, and asset integrity teams to incorporate scope changes and
ensure data completeness and accuracy.
Monitor and resolve data inconsistencies, duplication, and gaps in SAP master data to improve reliability
of planning outputs.
Support integration of SAP master data with planning tools (e.g., Primavera) to ensure alignment of
schedules and resources.
Ensure all changes to master data follow defined governance and approval processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement by incorporating feedback, audit findings, and performance
reviews into master data updates.
