Qualification
· Bachelors degree in engineering / GIS / Geomatics / Geography or related field. Post graduate degree in Geography/GIS is highly desirable.
Skills/Experience
· At least eight (8) years relevant experience in the field of geomatics of which 5 years shall be in oil and gas industry.
· At least 5 years experience in GIS on ESRI platform, particularly ArcGIS Pro and Portal for ArcGIS.
· At least 5 years experience working with Drone data management softwares e.g. Drone2Map, Agisoft Metashape, PiX4Dmatic, and Itwin Capture Modeller.
· At least 5 years experience working with Building Information Management (BIM) softwares e.g., Autodesk Revit, Naviworks, ArcGIS GeoBIM, Trimble Connect, and Autodesk BIM 360.
· Working experience with creating 3D mesh, 3D models, orthomosiacs, DSM, DEM, etc from Drone and LiDAR data capture.
· Working experience in gathering, integrating, QAQC, and clean up of spatial data to reveal patterns and perspectives to support front end engineering.
· Working experience with using ArcGIS 3D Analyst extension, Image Analyst, Network Analyst to solve complex analytical problems.
· Experience in scripting using python, java, ArcPy, ArcGIS modelbuilder, and ArcObjects ArcGIS SDK for JavaScript
· Working experience in carrying out data mining to extract relevant geographic and engineering attribute information from multidisciplinary engineering drawings / documents.
· Working experience with extraction, translation and loading CAD files into GIS without supervision.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
· Process large data from Drone mapping and Lidar scanning of client assets.
· Integration of processed data from Drone and Lidar into GIS systems to support projects and operations.
· Conversion of Building Information Management (BIM) data into GIS format and upload into GIS database.
· Provide GIS technical support for incident management during emergency / crisis incidents.
· Carry out data mining of project dossiers, multidisciplinary engineering drawings (CAD files) / documents, operation manuals, inspection reports, etc. to identify and extract geographic and engineering attribute data required to update GIS.
· Assist Senior GIS Engineers in developing geospatial business solutions to meet client business needs.
· Perform Corporate GIS database edits after carrying out necessary transformation, processing and quality assurance of data received from various sources in order to maintain an up-to-date Corporate GIS database.
· Populate attribute data gathered from engineering records and site verification in MS Access database and MS Excel.
· Link AutoCAD entities with records in MS Access Database and MS Excel using external
