Qualifications Bachelors degree in engineering

Knowledge and/or Experience

4 years full-time diversified Oil and Gas Operations experience including 2 years in a Training capacity.

Extensive experience in Operations or Maintenance of Oil & Gas facilities.

Key Job Accountabilities

1. Develop and deliver in-house technical training, simulator training and competency programs  to ensure staff have the right skills to operate and maintain company facilities, , and fulfil Operations Group departments requirements for Staff technical competencies.

2. Analyze training and competency needs to develop and implement customized classroom training and simulator troubleshooting scenarios, to enhance Operations and Maintenance personnel technical skills, including National Trainees and Graduates on development.
3. Provide On-Job training to Operations and Maintenance staff and to Trainees/Graduates, and ensure that the transfer of technical knowledge and skills between Trainees Coach and other field employees, and the Trainee/Graduate..
4. Conduct Procedures assessment for Operations and Maintenance staff, covering technical theoretical knowledge, technical skills and field knowledge.
5. Implement in coordination with Line Supervision the staff on-boarding programs to ensure  staff readiness to operate and maintain allocated area, units and equipment.
6. Conduct Simulator training on Plant Models, enhance Process Simulator material and develop customized troubleshooting scenarios.
7. Implement specific metrics that identify measurable learning objectives to meet Company new projects requirements for staff readiness to start-up the new facilities.
8. Ensure Process Safety and IIF culture components are properly and effectively embedded in  all technical training programs.
9. Prepare reports for Lead and Head of training, and discuss training outcomes with concerned line Supervision and develop customized individual technical training interventions to bridge all the gaps
