About the job SENIOR SAFETY OFFICER - Engineering & Projects Group (Marine-Subsea)
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Health and Safety / Risk Management / Engineering or a NVQ level 5 / 6 in Health and Safety.
NEBOSH General Certificate / NEBOSH Level 3 qualification is mandatory
ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 Auditor (lead or internal) is mandatory
Knowledge and/or Experience
Minimum of 10 years experience working within a health and SafetyOfficer / Advisor / Lead role(s)within the offshore oil and gas / offshore industries including previous EPCI project experience based at fabrication site facilities (working to IOGP 577 and 597) and Offshore/Subsea Installation vessels.
Candidate must have significant experience of working with EPC / EPCI type contracts / projects working for Client / Developer and / or EPCI Contractor on Brownfield developments / projects / live offshore assets Knowledge and proficiency in HSE Regulations and industry Best practices ( i . e . , OSHA, ISO14001, ISO45001, IOGP, IMCA, SOLAS etc.)
Good knowledge of high-risk activity management including Rigging and Lifting, Working at Height, Confined Space, Hot Works, Electrical Safety, Energy Isolations, Pressure Testing, Marine Operations, & Emergency Management Taproot© Root Cause Analysis or internationally recognized equivalent. I.e. Kelvin Topset etc.
OPITO BOSIET / FOET / T-BOSIET Or the ability to obtain in due course H2S awareness
Knowledge of International Oil & Gas Producers Reports (IOGP)
Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) program implementation
