6.2.81- DIVING SUPERINTENDENT

Qualification

Higher National Certificate (HNC) (or) Diploma (or) relevant Apprentice from recognized

universities with extensive offshore installation/diving experience. Diploma qualification is

not mandatory if the candidate has any one of the following certificates:

o IMCA Closed Bell Diver

o IMCA Air Diving Supervisor

o IMCA Bell/Saturation Diving Supervisor (Class III)

o NDT Operator level-2 (Optional)

Skills/Experience

Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in offshore construction/installation/diving out of which 8 years in oil & gas industry.

Offshore Air Diving and Saturation Diving Supervisor experience.

Should have the following additional qualification

IMCA Closed Bell Diver

IMCA Air Diving Supervisor

IMCA Bell/Saturation Diving Supervisor (Class III)

NDT Operator level-2 (Optional) Hands on experience on the following is

preferable

Previous experience as Diving Representative would be an added advantage.

Boat Landing Replacement

Riser, J-Tube Installation and Sub-sea spool tie-in

Umbilical installation including I-Tubes

Water Jetting, Removal of Debris and marine growth from Jackets and other subsea assets

Spool and PLEM Tie-in with ROV simultaneous operation

Pipelay and Jackets Installation

Removal of redundant riser and pipelines from Seabed.

Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems related to diving activities and

suggest solutions.

Good communication and report writing skills.
