Job Purpose
- Supervise Rotating Equipment activities and Workshop Rotating maintenance team to execute all tasks associated with rotating activities in Workshop to support all Company facilities onshore & offshore, onsite, and offsite to the highest levels of safety, quality, integrity, and reliability to achieve optimal operating reliability targets.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
- Roles responsibility is to provide support to onshore & offshore sites and perform rotating activities to the highest quality & safety as per international standards and codes.
- Major challenges of the role are (1) performing the Hazardous Open flame activity in the Gas plant by meeting highest safety standard and follow all Safe Work Practice (SWP) and HSE Guidelines. (2) engaging with multi asset maintenance teams across all operational assets to ensure support is provided for reliability and minimize production impact, (3) Provides 24x7 on-call business support for asset related issues and field support in the event of plant emergencies, (4) Manage the safety and the quality execution of more than 40 of workshop activities for onshore facilities.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Supervise and lead the rotating equipment activities of the Workshop for optimum utilization of resources to ensure safety and seamless execution and monitor the activities in meeting all QA/QC requirements.
- Ensure that activities are delivered in accordance with international standard & codes and the Company standards & specifications.
- Ensure consumables are used and stored as per the company standards & specifications.
- Ensure the rotating equipment activities are meeting the biweekly schedule.
- Lead and direct activities during Normal Operations and in Shutdown, quality, and safety of execution.
- Ensure equipment are maintained and tested periodically to meet the Company standards and inspection requirement.
- Ensure effective toolbox Talks are conducted and JSA available for all activities.
- Ensure materials are used without wastage & remaining unused materials are returned to Warehouse with necessary documents.
Minimum Requirement
Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience
- 8 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry or petrochemical industry.
- Capable to conduct TBT & Hazard Identifications.
- Knowledge in welding Codes.
Technical and Business Skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
