JOB PURPOSE

Support the Head of Category in executing category strategies, lead complex sourcing projects, and manage supplier relationships for assigned categories.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Management Systems

  • Awareness of Company Integrated Management Systems (Quality; Environment; Occupational Health & Safety; Responsible Care; & Energy Management Systems; and IFA Product Stewardship)
  • Comply with all the relevant policies and procedures of Company Integrated Management Systems.

QAFCO Strategy

  • Awareness of Company Vision, Mission, Strategic Map & Core Values.

Category Strategy Support & Sourcing Leadership

  • Assist in developing and executing category strategies.
  • Lead complex sourcing events, tenders, and negotiations.

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Manage supplier relationships, contract renewals, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure supplier compliance and resolve performance issues.

Team Support & Knowledge Sharing

  • Mentor and guide Category Specialists, sharing best practices and sourcing knowledge.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and team development.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Track and report on category KPIs, savings, and supplier performance.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify and implement process improvements and support adoption of new technologies, including AI and automation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:

  • Present category strategies and results to senior management and committees.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure category strategies meet business needs.

Strategic Alignment & Value Creation:

  • Ensure category strategies support company objectives, growth, sustainability goals and risk management.

Cost Savings, Productivity & Efficiency:

  • Drive cost reduction and process optimization to enhance team productivity and efficiency

Innovation & Technology Adoption

  • Promote use of AI, automation, and digital tools to optimize category management.
  • Implement new technologies to improve efficiency and data-driven decision-making

National Talent Development:

  • Train and mentor national fresh graduate to build local procurement talent.
