I. Job Purpose
The Commercial Manager is responsible for managing and developing brands and products within the category portfolio. This role ensures the achievement of key business objectives including Sales In, Sales Out, inventory optimization, product pricing, promotional strategy, and brand performance enhancement. The position plays a critical role in aligning commercial strategy with market trends and overall business goals.
II. Accountability
1. Procurement Management

Implement procurement plans aligned with company strategies.

Ensure sales targets and profitability for brands.

Analyze market trends to identify product needs and expansion opportunities.

Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal commercial terms and product quality.

Conduct market research to guide new product development.
2. In-Stock Planning

Forecast customer demand using sales data and market trends.

Optimize inventory levels and stock cover periods.

Adjust purchasing plans based on sales analysis.

Collaborate with the Supply Chain to ensure product availability across all channels.
3. Promotions and Campaigns
Develop and execute promotional programs to boost customer engagement and sales.

Evaluate campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies when necessary.
4. Supplier Management

Ensure compliance with contractual terms and product quality standards.

Monitor and guide suppliers on continuous improvement in quality and service.

Mitigate risks related to supply chain, finance, or quality issues.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with strategic suppliers.
5. Team Management & Development

Forecast resource needs, plan recruitment, and develop employee career paths.

Define performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations.

III. Job Requirements
Education & Skills

Bachelors degree or higher in International Trade, Economics, Commerce, or related fields.

Proficient in English communication (required).

Proficient in MS Office applications.
Professional Competencies

Strong understanding of international markets and consumer behavior.

Familiar with customs regulations, taxes, and quality standards in overseas markets.

Experience in managing multinational product portfolios.

Skilled in profitability analysis and cost management.

Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.

Broad knowledge of GT, MT, Ecommerce, B2B distribution channels.

Familiar with branding, marketing communication, and trade marketing.
Experience

At least 8 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the cosmetics or FMCG industry.
