About the job IT Manager
JOB PURPOSE:
The Head of Information Technology is responsible for managing, operating, and defining the strategic development of the Company's entire Information Technology function to ensure:
– Stable, secure, and efficient IT systems
– Effective support for business operations and business strategy through system initiatives, development, and continuous improvement
– The promotion of technology adoption, digital transformation, and productivity improvement across the organization
– Manage the cost efficiency and effectiveness of projects, and maintain high-quality relationships with vendors related to the IT function.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
1. IT Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement the Company's IT strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Propose and lead technology initiatives, including system improvements, automation, and digital transformation.
- Prepare short-term and long-term IT plans covering infrastructure, systems, and resources.
2. Managing Projects of IT Department (Building and operating ERP system, internal software system.)

- Consulting, designing, supervising service quality and IT system operations
- Develop and complete processes, regulations, and guide the internal work of the IT department and related departments
- Operate the software system to serve the company's business goals
- Responsible for organizing the implementation and management of the company's projects related to the IT department.
3. Develop and implement plans for the management of infrastructure and equipment resources
- Develop a plan (yearly, quarterly, monthly), update it according to monthly reality and make adjustments to the quarterly/yearly plan (if any).
- Formulate and implement activity plans for the Department, manage objectives and action plans.
- Develop operation-related Processes to ensure system integrity and efficient operation.
- Plan, implement and control the budget to ensure control according to the approved budget.
- Propose and implement information and data security solutions from basic to advanced.
- Implement contingency plans for possible disasters, ensure continuous business operation system data.
4.Investment Management and Supplier Management:
- Cost planning and procurement related to the IT Department.
- Manage procurement activities related to the IT Department.
- Research IT solutions and new technologies.
- Directly working with application software deployment consultants, IT service providers.
5. Operation of infrastructure and network systems:
- Manage assets and information technology equipment to ensure the security, safety and access control of all data as well as of all computers in the system.
- Manage and maintain data integrity and end-user access in the system.
- Manage and control the network system in compliance with security regulations, establish appropriate decentralization policies for each object.
- Manage equipment and supplier procurement to ensure they are within the approved budget.
- Manage the provision of resources for server systems, office users and shop systems to serve business needs.
- Providing and improving the service quality of activities of the Information Technology system.
6. Resource management and staff development
- Resource forecasting, recruitment planning, promotion roadmap, employee development roadmap and training plan (if any).
- Train and guide knowledge and skills for subordinate employees to meet their work effectively.
- Conduct periodic review of results to have timely strategies and solutions.
- Evaluate employee performance, propose rewards and evaluate staff.
7. To perform other tasks as assigned by their superiors
- Perform other tasks as delegated by superiors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1.Knowledge
- Education: Graduated from a university majoring in Information Technology.
- Foreign language: Good communication English, reading and comprehending specialized documents in Information Technology
2. Professional Competencies
- Strong knowledge of programming and operation of ERP, LS Retail, Ecommerce, and Omni‑channel systems.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and information security.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), cybersecurity, backup and recovery, and system performance management.
- Solid understanding of servers, network devices, firewalls, storage systems, and modern network architectures.
- Experience in deploying and managing systems in on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, including VPN and virtualization.
- Knowledge of system monitoring, alerting, security controls, and compliance with IT policies and regulations.
- Understand policies and regulations on information technology system management
3. Experience
- Have at least 7 years of experience in administering and operating Information Technology and Infrastructure - Information Technology systems
