ABOUT THE ROLE

The Deal Support works closely with the Deal Leader as a finance and performance partner across the full investment lifecycle — from pre‑investment through value creation and exit. The role focuses on rigorous financial analysis, performance monitoring, and early risk identification to support strong investment outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre‑Investment

  • Support deal sourcing through market mapping and comparable analysis.
  • Build and own high‑quality financial models, including growth drivers, unit economics, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Coordinate and track financial, tax, legal, ESG, and governance due diligence materials.
  • Assess financial risks, data quality, and the capability of the CFO and finance function.
  • Contribute financial analysis and insights to investment memoranda.
  • Track and support completion of closing conditions.

Post‑Investment

  • Maintain accurate, forward‑looking financial models and update them monthly.
  • Monitor business performance, cash flow, and key financial KPIs.
  • Work with portfolio CFOs on planning, cost control, and financial discipline.
  • Identify and escalate performance, liquidity, and reporting risks in a timely manner.
  • Perform monthly investee‑level and fund‑level valuations to ensure credible NAV.
  • Support portfolio analysis, investor reporting, and audit processes.
  • Monitor compliance with laws, transaction agreements, governance, and ESG requirements.
  • Support Board and Shareholder matters, particularly on finance, performance, and compliance topics.

Divestment

  • Support exit preparation, including financial analysis, advisor coordination, and data‑room readiness.
  • Prepare scenarios and financial materials for M&A or listing processes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Having bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, preferably with overseas education.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience across the investment lifecycle.
  • Background in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investment Banking, M&A or Transaction Advisory, or Strategy Consulting, with hands‑on deal experience.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and FP&A capabilities.
  • Solid analytical mindset and skills in evaluating business performance, cash flow, and financial risk.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and discipline.
  • Clear, structured communicator, comfortable working and asking questions with senior stakeholders in English.
  • Strong ownership mindset, resilience, and learning orientation.
  • Strong networking skills with high-level professionals, such as CEOs and Founders.
  • Work Location: Ho Chi Minh City or Ha Noi.
