You’ll be working with multiple teams of application engineers, platform engineers and data scientists to architect and build the infrastructure for highly scalable and reliable systems.

You will help deploy, maintain, and monitor Kubernetes clusters. Supporting other team members in their daily work. And developing and enhancing tools to aid in CI/CD management.

What experience and skills, do you need to do a great job in this position?

• You are familiar with Docker or a similar tool

• You have experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

• You are familiar with package managers for k8s like Helm

• You have knowledge of building a scalable production HA architecture
  

• You know why and how to use Terraform

• You are not afraid of developing tools or scripts in Bash, PowerShell, python or whatever to 

  automate work

• You have knowledge of performance tests creation using JMeter
  

• You can communicate in English (a least B2 level)

• You are familiar with C# programming language

A plus with experience in any of the following technologies:

• Experience in Performance and Reliability of distributed environments and microservices
  
• OS administration: Windows, RedHat/CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu or similar
  
• Network administration; TCP/IP, HTTP requests, routing, firewalling etc.
  

• Google Cloud Platform knowledge.

• CI/CD flows & tools: Azure Devops

• Application monitoring and alerting tools: Grafana, 

• Prometheus and Azure Application

  Insights.

• Experience in high traffic and distributed architectures: load balancing, queues or similar
  
• Database administration: CosmosDb, Sql Server, MongoDB, redis ElasticSearch...

SCRM, Lidl’s international digital HUB, was created in Nov 2015 as an external company to manage the organizational challenge required in such a transformation towards a customer-oriented model that incorporates data into the decision-making process and digitalization with the latest technologies.

The Hub is a multidisciplinary team (Creativity, Business Analyst, Designers, UX, data Engineers, Developers, etc.) with direct contact with the Lidl board, that works by Squads with an Agile working methodology. Right now, we have almost 100 passionate SCRMs working in our Hub.
