About the role

We are looking for a new Product Owner in our International Hub in Barcelona. We are an innovation hub with around 300 teammates, divided in Tribes and those in Squads. The omnichannel tribe is requiring a new PO for leading a multidisciplinary team of (6-10 members) in collaboration of the Squad Tech lead (Dev lead). The team is responsible for an IDP/SSO/CIAM product use company above.

In this Role, you'll get to

• Take lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner.

• Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and

  create requirements.

• Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.

• Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.

• Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities.

• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy

• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.

• Work closely with the CPO to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value.

• Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities.

• Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product.

• Follow our competitors and the industry.

• Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.

• Work comfortable with other teams outside the HUB without an agile methodology.

• Help team to growth.

Required Skills

• 
  

  Previous working experience as a Product Owner for 5 years.

• MA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
• Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinker with a Technical and Business vision.
• Attention to details.
• Experience in other Omnichannel projects would be a plus.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English. German would be a plus.
• Jira, Confluence or other Agile tools.
• Experience in working in Agile Methodologies / Squads organization (Spotify Model).
• Delivery of international projects in English or German.
