Primary mission

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will interact with data scientists, data engineers and business experts to: gather requirements, transform them into projects, propose technologies and models, and develop production ready solutions in collaboration with the team.

• Design solutions and develop models
• Design creative features to improve models
• Deploy projects into real production environments
• Communicate results through easy-to-understand visualizations
• Propose new ideas based on business opportunities
• Help to grow the team with your technical and scientific knowledge

• Languages (required): Python (OOP) and SQL
• Languages (appreciated): Shell script (Unix-like OS)
• Advance python knowledge (required): Numpy, Pandas, Scipy, Scikit-learn, DL framework (preferably PyTorch or TensorFlow) and visualization (Matplotlib, Bokeh or Plotly)
• Advance python knowledge (appreciated): CPU and memory profiling, Multiprocessing, JobLib, Numba or JAX
• Systems knowledge (required): Git, SQL, NoSQL and Hadoop + Spark (PySpark)
• Systems knowledge (appreciated): cloud service (preferably Azure) and distributed systems and data processing (ETL)

• A technical & scientific reference for junior members of the team
• Ability to patiently explain concepts clearly
• Experience in Agile methodology and fast adaptation to changing requirements and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to be creative and innovation-minded, self-motivated and proactive to work in a collaborative model, side by side with the business
• Fluency in English to work in a multi-cultural environment

• MS’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or related field
• 6+ years’ experience in Data Science
• 2+ years’ experience in Deep Learning
• As a bonus, open code repository, or StackOverflow / Reddit points
