Position Overview : Sales Manager USA Trade is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key client relationships, and developing business strategies for trade routes between Indonesia to USA and Latin America. The role involves overseeing a sales team, negotiating contracts, and ensuring market competitiveness to maximize revenue and market share.

Responsibilities : 

  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the sales budget and increase the market share for USA & Latin America trade lanes
  • Client Management: Build & maintain strong relationships with customers and lead negotiations on freight rates, contracts, and space agreements
  • Market research/Analyst & Strategy : Monitor & reporting US/LA trade market trends, including rate fluctuation, competitor activities & market demands to HQ, define and set up strategies to achieve the sales target
  • Sales forecast : Managing the vessel space/forecast, analyses, and coordinate with logistic team for containers supply
  • Performance Reporting: Generating sales weekly report, performance review, market to HQ, National Sales Manager & Management

Requirements : 

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics or Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or International Business
  • 7 years of solid experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding, with a focus on TP Trade export sales / commercial
  • In-depth knowledge of USA & LATAM trade lanes
  • Shipping & Logistics: In depth knowledge of international shipping business, freight forwarding, and shipping incoterms
  • Fluent in English, able to speak Mandarin is preferred
