Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control business expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets and financial targets.
  • Develop and maintain cost tracking tools, dashboards, and reports to monitor actual costs, committed expenses, accruals, and deferred costs.
  • Prepare periodic cost reports, forecasts, and financial analyses to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Analyze cost variances, identify potential cost inefficiencies, and provide recommendations for cost optimization and savings initiatives.
  • Review and validate invoices, purchase commitments, and project progress claims against approved budgets and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in budget preparation, cost estimation, and financial planning across business units.
  • Ensure cost recognition and expenditure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable financial regulations, including IFRS 16 where relevant.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing relevant cost reports, financial records, and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Operations, Technical, and Finance, to ensure accurate cost monitoring and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost control processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Cost Control, Financial Analysis, Management Accounting, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, cost monitoring, financial reporting, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting standards, including IFRS 16, is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using ERP systems or financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines
  • Willing to be located in Surabaya
