Position Overview:
This position will be under the logistic company of Meratus (M-Global Logistics) and will be responsible to: main liaison and supervisor for a key international principal, coordinating all agency functions from commercial support to operational execution, ensure service delivery excellence, compliance with principal SOPs, and efficient cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary coordinator and SPOC between the principal and internal teams (CS, Ops, Commercial, Documentation).
- Supervise and ensure execution of vessel schedules, slot management, bookings, cargo readiness, and port operations.
- Oversee and validate all documentation processes (BL, manifest, DO, invoices) in line with principal standards.
- Ensure timely reporting to principal as per SLA (daily, weekly, or voyage-based reports).
- Monitor KPI performance, identify deviations, and lead corrective actions when service gaps arise.
- Lead coordination meetings (internal & with principal), handle escalations, and ensure continuous communication flow.
- Develop and update SOPs, workflows, and contingency plans for assigned principal.
- Guide and support agency staff under the account to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Liaise with external parties (port, customs, vendors) for operational facilitation and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or related fields
- Min. 3-5 years of experiences in shipping, forwarding, or international logistics
- Strong understanding of agency operations, export/import documentation, and port procedures
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (in English and Bahasa)
- Demonstrated ability to lead coordination across departments and resolve complex service issues
- Proficient in shipping/logistics systems and reporting tools (Excel, ERP, etc.)
