About the job Post Fixture Finance
Job Summary:
Manage and oversee the financial aspects of vessel operations after a fixture (contract) has been agreed upon. This includes ensuring accurate financial reporting, processing invoices, managing budgets, and analyzing financial data to support decision-making. The role also involves ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations, ultimately contributing to the financial health and efficiency of the organization.
Job Accountability:
- Responsible on accounts payable, including but not limited to brokerage payments, BQS (Bunker Quantity Survey).
- Responsible for account receiveable and collection (including invoice, debit note, credit note) to all customers and ensure accuration and timelyness.
- Communicate with brokers/charterers for invoice, payment schedule, hire statement review, bunker on delivery/redelivery, final settlement.
- Monitor voyage expenses, including port charges, bunker costs, and canal dues (if Voyage Charter).
- Prepare, negotiate, and verify laytime calculations, demurrage, and despatch claims (if Voyage Charter), off-hire as well as speed & fuel consumption claims to charterers/ owners
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Develop and monitor budgets, providing insights and recommendations for cost control.
