Job Overview

As a Cargo Flow Coordinator, you will play a key role in controlling vessel space allocation, ensuring efficient cargo flow, and maximizing vessel utilization. You will be responsible for monitoring transshipment, outbound cargo, and special equipment while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control transshipment and outbound cargo movement.

  • Manage vessel space quota per route and leg to maximize filling factor.

  • Coordinate special equipment, early stack control, and cargo readiness.

  • Prepare reports on filling factors (TEUs & tonnage) and provide insights for decision-making.

  • Work closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, and external partners to ensure smooth cargo flow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (S1) in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within shipping, logistics, or related industry.

  • Strong knowledge of container operations, cargo handling, and EXIM documentation.

  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and forecasting tools.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of container operations, transshipment, and cargo documentation (Bill of Lading, Customs/EXIM).

  • Understanding of cost efficiency, P&L, and cargo allocation.

  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

  • Strong teamwork, coordination, and decision-making ability.

  • Willing to be based in Surabaya and open for collaboration across branches.
