Chartering Manager (Shipping)

Job Summary:
Manage company assets (vessels) by optimizing revenue according to the deployment strategy and minimizing idle time between charterers

Job Responsibility:

• Secure spot and medium term charter and ensure vessels are correctly deployed for TC or else to optimize earnings in accordance with deployment strategy and time charter budget.
• Optimize vessel utilization relative to market peers and produce regular performance management reports
• Manage key customer to maintain good relationships with current and prospective Charterers
• Prepare and review Chartering financial report including budget and monthly evaluations
• Prepare and review Meratus Group Internal Charter Party (all vessel) including daily rate calculation (for chartered out vessel)
• Charter In vessels including but not limited: a. Fix / negotiate b. Contract review
• Supervising all fixtures (charter out and charter in) and assist in post- fix.ures activities
