Job Overview:
The PIB/PEB Drafter Officer is responsible for ensuring that all export and import documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with Indonesian Customs and Government regulations both before and after vessel departure/arrival. This role involves managing and verifying shipping documents such as B/L, IPL, and other relevant paperwork according to HS codes. The officer will communicate with customers (shippers and consignees) to resolve any document discrepancies and ensure error-free PIB/PEB drafts. Additionally, the role requires monitoring the latest customs regulations, representing the company in communications with customs authorities, and managing special shipments and rework shipments from outport to JKT/SUB.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure export and import documents are complete and accurate before and after vessel departure/arrival.

Verify that all documents tally with shipping papers such as B/L, IPL, and other related documents based on HS codes.

Communicate proactively with customers (shippers and consignees) to resolve incomplete or missing export/import documents.

Draft PIB and PEB documents without errors, fully compliant with relevant Indonesian Customs and Government regulations.

Stay updated with the latest Indonesian Customs provisions and regulations.

Act as company representative during customs confirmations or interviews.

Handle rework shipments from outport to Jakarta (JKT) or Surabaya (SUB).

Manage special inquiries related to special shipments.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from a relevant field.

0-2 years of experience in a similar role or related field.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.

Good communication skills to liaise with customers and customs authorities.

Knowledge of Indonesian Customs regulations and export/import documentation is preferred.
