Job Title: Asset & System Development Officer
Roles Overview:
The Asset & System Development Officer is responsible for developing and improving asset management systems, standards, and data governance to support effective maintenance practices across the organization. This role ensures the integrity of maintenance data, drives system and process improvements, and provides analytical insights to enhance asset performance, operational reliability, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication packages to ensure asset management standards are communicated and implemented across Merdeka.
- Maintain master data (equipment hierarchy, failure codes, and maintenance history) in accordance with Merdeka standards.
- Generate and analyse maintenance compliance in accordance with asset management standards.
- Drive system improvement projects to enhance asset performance, reduce costs, and support organizational goals.
- Manage and ensure data quality within CMMS (Pronto) by identifying data errors, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining system accuracy.
- Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance information systems to improve data integrity and decision support.
- Analyse maintenance data (work orders, equipment usage, downtime, and costs) to identify trends and insights for improving maintenance processes.
- Support site improvement initiatives to ensure maintenance business processes and role-holder capacity comply with required standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (S1) in Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years in related roles.
- Proven experience in Maintenance Management and Work Management Systems.
- Proficiency in CMMS platforms (SAP, PRONTO, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Project Management and ISO 9001 standards.
- Good knowledge of mining equipment and processing plant equipment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to interpret PFDs, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to support cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
