Job Summary:

The Payroll Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting daily payroll operations and ensuring accurate and timely salary processing for employees and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. The position also works closely with HR, Finance, and site teams to maintain smooth payroll processes and support payroll reporting and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Payroll Manager in overseeing the payroll process for all employees
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, including tax and social security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Work closely with HR and Finance departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and analysis for management.
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations that may affect payroll processes.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline payroll operations and increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as payroll or related position
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
  • Fluency in English
