About the job Senior Staff Tax (Mandarin Speaking)
Summary:
The Senior Tax Staff plays a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. This position involves preparing and filing various tax returns, conducting tax research, and assisting with tax audits. The Senior Tax Staff is also responsible for staying up-to-date on changes in tax legislation and providing guidance to junior staff members.
Main Accountabilities:
Prepare and file timely and accurate tax returns, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax returns, in compliance with applicable tax regulations.
Verify daily transactions to ensure the accuracy of tax implications (VAT and Withholding Tax).
Prepare periodic tax compliance payments and reporting following prevailing tax regulations.
Prepare and report Land and Building Tax (PBB) data.
Prepare and report Corporate Income Tax Return (SPT PPh Badan) data.
Prepare and maintain data on affiliated transactions.
Prepare and submit data requested by the Tax Office.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to: tax regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Tax Accounting, Taxation, or Fiscal Administration.
Brevet Pajak A & B certification.
Minimum 4 years of experience in tax compliance and reporting. Experience as an auditor in a Tax Consultancy Firm for at least 2 years is preferred.
Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
Ability to conduct tax research and interpret tax regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with tax software or applications.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (e.g., GAAP, IFRS)
Fluency in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
