Reporting and Cost Control Staff

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional responsible for budgeting, cost monitoring, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial planning and operational efficiency. The role involves analyzing cost drivers, preparing reports, and providing insights to support management decisions while identifying cost optimization opportunities. This position requires strong cost accounting knowledge and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilites:

• Prepare and manage budgets, as well as update cost forecasts based on production plans and market conditions
• Monitor actual costs against budget and perform variance analysis to identify gaps and potential issues
• Analyze cost per ton and evaluate key cost drivers, including energy, raw materials, and operational efficiency
• Prepare periodic cost reports and provide insights to support management decision-making
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement across operations
• Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and allocation
• Ensure all cost control processes comply with company policies and support internal/external audit requirements

Qualification:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing industry or public accounting firm (KAP)
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial analysis
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
• Able to work collaboratively across departments
• Willing to be placed in Morowali with a roster system (7 weeks onsite and 2 weeks leave)
