About the job Junior Business Operations Manager
Responsibilities
Daily Operations
Ensure all information is updated on internal systems accurately and on time.
Track and manage practice performance (scorecards, revenue, billability; receivables; expenses, budgets).
Track financial aspects (ledgers of each project, expenses of each team member, time sheets, receivables), and work closely with finance to validate information.
Forecast ledgers to prevent budget overruns.
Monitor marketing/admin spend for practice, work with teams to identify/resolve issues.
Manage pipeline of marketing material and act as a facilitator of information needed for proposals.
Follow statistics on proposals and ensure that all opportunities are updated.
Compile call material using input from Business Information System (BIS) , Project Status
Reporting (PSR), Cognos and other tools.
Assist in preparing Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
Assist in planning QBR and practice meeting agendas and presentations in cooperation
with Business Operation Managers (BOMs), Assistants (logistics, agenda creation, meeting support).
Demand & New Business Generation
Serve as a point of contact for information regarding practice activity and business status dissemination of this information to all relevant parties.
Track business pipeline, ensure business activity (prospects, proposals, wins/losses) is fed into BIS timely and accurately.
People Process Support
Assist BOM with staffing forecasts and allocation of team members to new projects to ensure effective utilization.
Business Operations Team
Be an integral part of the team (assume project responsibilities, attend team calls, provide reciprocal vacation coverage).
Closely team with other parts of Decision Making Support i.e. Financial Analysis &
Reporting and Pricing.
Team with other support functions e.g. Staffing, Recruiting, HR Admin, Finance, MarkComs and VCS.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Qualifications
University Degree
1-3 years of experience
Fluency in spoken and written English and preferably Arabic (spoken and written)
Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word). Experience in
manipulating data in excel is a must
