Air Freight Coordinator (Dubai)

Our client is a global distribution company that offers Express Deliveries, eCommerce Solutions, 3PL Warehousing & eCommerce Fulfillment, and Freight & Logistics Services.

We are looking for a Full-Time Air Freight Coordinator to join their team in Dubai.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate air freight shipments from origin to destination, including booking, documentation, and tracking.

• Communicate effectively with clients, airlines, and other service providers to ensure seamless execution of shipments.

• Negotiate rates and contracts with airlines to optimize cost-effectiveness and service quality.

• Prepare and process necessary documentation, including air waybills, customs clearance documents, and certificates of origin.

• Monitor and update shipment status, providing timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and address any discrepancies related to air freight shipments.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including customs regulations and international trade laws.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the air freight department.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience in air freight operations, preferably within the freight forwarding industry.

• Strong knowledge of air freight procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.

• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.

• Eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates.
