Our client is a leading global consulting firm, helping the world's top businesses, governments and organizations. Looking for a new "Researcher PE-SIF" covering Middle East region.

This position reports to the Research Manager. 

Primary duties and responsibilities

Research and analysis

  • Autonomously support client project and proposal teams on research requests pertaining to private equity, sovereign wealth funds and real estate, by leveraging internal and external subscriptions across the Strategy& network.
  • Conduct research to obtain information for benchmarks, company profiles, financial analysis, industry baselines and market trends, with minimal oversight.
  • Become familiar with internal intellectual capital availability and work with topic specialists to create well-rounded research outputs.
  • Synthesize findings and key takeaways in an easy to read, presentable format (Excel and/or PowerPoint).
  • Coordinate and schedule request delivery to ensure on-time and quality outputs.
  • Liaise with the energy, utilities and resources team leads to plan upcoming research needs of projects.
  • Serve as an embedded team member on client engagements to support select workstreams by taking full ownership of data requirements, research, and synthesis.
  • Support in creation of digital tools to aid client staff teams to work efficiently and easily extract relevant trends and insights.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably with 4 years of experience in consulting or research; Private equity or real estate experience are a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic (reading and speaking) is preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong fundamental research and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and a desire to assume significant responsibility.
