Our client is a leading global consulting firm, helping the world's top businesses, governments and organizations. Looking for a new " Social Impact Senior Manager" in their offices Beirut or Dubai. Reports to the Human Capital Senior Director.


Responsibilities

Social Impact Strategy Development

  • Lead the development of a comprehensive social impact strategy that aligns with the firm's values and business goals.
  • Identify key areas where the firm can make a meaningful difference through strategic partnerships, thought leadership, and innovative programs.

Collaboration and Thought Leadership

  • Establish and nurture partnerships with nonprofits, leading philanthropic foundations, academic institutions, and other stakeholders to amplify the firm's social impact efforts.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives by creating and sharing insights on relevant social and environmental issues.

Scaling Social Impact Footprint

  • Develop and execute plans to scale the firm's social impact initiatives, leveraging existing resources and expertise.
  • Implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of social impact programs and initiatives, and continuously refine strategies based on results.

Business Case Development

  • Work closely with leadership to create a compelling business case for leveraging the firm's social impact footprint to build advisory and partnership capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate with regional philanthropic initiatives to offer specialised advisory services and create mutually beneficial partnerships.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand their social impact goals and explore opportunities for collaboration.
  • Collaborate with other internal departments (marketing and communication, human capital, etc.) on cross- functional initiatives to increase the department's footprint internally and externally.
  • Act as a representative of the firm at social impact events, conferences, and forums to enhance the firm's visibility and network.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Inspire a culture of contribution across consulting, operations and other teams
  • Build a team of social impact professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and excellence.


Knowledge, skills and abilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social impact strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) trends, philanthropic initiatives, and sustainability practices.
  • Leadership experience, including managing teams and cross-functional collaborations.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and inspire a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate social impact goals into actionable plans.
