Our client is a leading global consulting firm, helping the world's top businesses, governments and organizations. Looking for a new "Knowledge Management Specialist" covering Middle East region.

Primary duties and responsibilities

Knowledge Hub Maintenance

  • Work with the head of the knowledge hub to help drive the strategic agenda for the platform, suggest improvements in the platform

  • Act as a single point contact for the all the relevant changes and updates the firms knowledge management platform

  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to collect and analyze knowledge management needs, interact with the audience to capture the feedback on the platform

  • Coordinate with other internal teams like BOMs, AH to collect and upload content on the platform

  • Maintain knowledge about the platforms admin configurations and requirements

  • Perform admin configurations (i.e., those not requiring technical know-how)

  • Analyze usage data, extract patterns, and perform regular analysis on the KPIs and suggest/implement further updates when relevant

  • Perform the gaps analysis of projects completed vs. ICs / quals uploads and follow ups with relevant teams to upload their relevant content

Content Management

  • Ensure that content is fresh timely and adheres to our guidelines and principles for content considerations

  • Archive old/irrelevant content and follow up with relevant teams to upload the content

  • Ensure correct tagging and content is reflected under correct content types

  • Collect/repackage standard KM material (e.g. country specific, platform specific, etc.) that can be quickly used by client staff when working on proposals

  • Create and maintain a regular Newsletter that divulgates the collected KM material and any new KM
    material created
    Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • A Bachelors degree (preferably in IT, computer science) with some experience in coding is preferred

  • 3-4 years of experience in knowledge management, content management, portal creation and management are required

  • Demonstrated understanding of knowledge management principles, platforms, and capacity to deliver knowledge management and/or organizational learning activities
  • Excellent facilitation, program/activity management, and written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to link content development and engagement strategies that facilitate timely, useful delivery of information through project learning platforms and activities
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Well-developed communication skills in English, Arabic would be good to have
  • Problem solving tactics/negotiating skills to address difficult situations
