Job Description

The Junior QA Specialist is responsible for manually testing new software products, reporting bugs, and ensuring products meet client requirements. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality software and web applications aligned with UI/UX and security principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and implement test plans, test cases, and procedures
  • Analyze and report test results to development team
  • Log, track, and help resolve bugs
  • Ensure consistency and functionality in user interfaces
  • Comply with quality assurance standards and procedures
  • Conduct quality audits and maintain reports
  • Collaborate with development team for issue resolution
  • Record complaints, causes, and solutions in tracking systems

Security Responsibilities

  • Perform security testing and penetration testing
  • Assess vulnerabilities and participate in code reviews
  • Execute security test cases and validate controls
  • Anonymize test data and secure sensitive information
  • Conduct regression testing for security fixes
  • Document security cases and maintain knowledge base
  • Promote security awareness within QA team
  • Ensure compliance with OWASP and ISMS standards

Deliverables

  • Bug reports for features/projects
  • Test plans and documented test cases

Reporting Standards

  • Autonomy in job duties within agile framework
  • Escalate new solutions/processes for approval
  • Report critical issues and customer feedback
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Functional testing and project management tool experience (JIRA, Trello)
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress)
  • UI/UX knowledge and web security practices
  • Technical writing, reporting, and business requirement understanding
  • Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent English and IT tool proficiency
