Our client is a leading global consulting firm, helping the world's top businesses, governments and organizations. Looking for a new "Researcher" covering Middle East region.

This position reports to the Research Manager - ERS, Head of Knowledge and Research.

Primary duties and responsibilities

Research and Analysis

• Autonomously support client project and proposal teams on energy and sustainability related research requests, by leveraging internal and external subscriptions across the Strategy& network
• Conduct research to obtain information for benchmarks, company profiles, financial analysis, industry baselines and market trends, with minimal oversight
• Become familiar with internal intellectual capital availability and work with topic specialists to create well-rounded research outputs
• Synthesize findings and key takeaways in an easy to read, presentable format
• Coordinate and schedule request delivery to ensure on-time and quality outputs
• Coordinate with workflow manager and external vendors and also review the work provided by vendors
• Serve as an embedded team member on client engagements to support select workstreams by taking full ownership of data requirements, research and synthesis
• Support in creation of digital tools to aid client staff teams to work efficiently and easily extract relevant trends and insights
• Contribute to knowledge management by creating quick insights on various topics related to the energy platforms

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

• University degree or equivalent, preferably with 1-3 years of experience in consulting or research; Energy &
• Sustainability is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic (reader and speaker) preferred
• Innovative thinking and willingness to push boundaries
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Experience working with Excel and PowerPoint
• Team player with a strong work ethic and a desire to assume significant responsibility
• Proactive self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
