Our client is a leading global consulting firm, helping the world's top businesses, governments and organizations. Looking for a new " KSA Employee Relations Specialist " in their Saudi Arabia office.
This position reports to the Employee Relations Manager
Primary duties and responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert on Saudi employment inquiries across programs (business analyst, full time hire, secondments and internships)/ (nationals and expats)
- Handle onboarding of new hires in the Riyadh office in coordination with Human Resources counterparts (Recruiting, employees relations, staffing)
- Support relocation of employees into Saudi office in coordination with the Employee Relations Manager (employment agreements, benefit lists, coordination with the concerned parties)
- Coordinate with the Riyadh office Manager and PRO for the residency application for expats (Labour contract, certifications and attestations, insurance)
- Assist the Employee Relations Manager with medical insurance matters pertaining to Saudi based employees
- Enrol employees in relevant Saudi pension schemes according to the Saudi regulations and coordinate with payroll for GCC pension schemes registration and payments
- Establish and update Saudi employees entitlements as per the Saudi labour law and employment regulations i.e military service, Hajj leave, leave of absence, extended sick leave
- Manage Riyadh based staff offboarding and liaise with relevant parties to close on exit formalities
- Maintain an updated view and ensure compliance on Saudization and Nitaqat targets in coordination with Riyadh office Manager and Residencies, Work Permits and Visa Manager
- Ensure staff employment is compliant with Saudi employment regulations
- Provide planning and execution support for any Human Capital department events targeting existing Saudi hires or recruiting efforts
- Act as a point of contact for Employee Relations matters (inquiries, policies and procedures) within the Riyadh office
- Prepare and issue employment certificates
- Establish contacts internally (across Lines of Service and Functions) to stay updated on internal initiatives and Saudi employment regulations
- Establish professional network of contacts with Saudi governmental stakeholders
- Proactively participate in broader team improvement initiatives
- Serve as integral part of Human Capital team (assume project responsibilities, attend team calls, provide reciprocal vacation coverage)
- Closely team up with the Human Capital team (staffing, recruiting, L&D) and others (Finance, Logistics, etc.) on employee relations related matters
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Qualifications:
- University degree in human resources, business administration
- 4 -6 years of experience in human resource operations with focus on Saudi employment matters
- Solid understanding the Saudi labour law and employment requirements in KSA
- Saudi National

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, strong attention to detail
- Very good working knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite etc.)
