Our Client is a hospitality management services company that specializes in concepts development, organizational restructuring, strategic planning, franchise development & business model development is seeking to hire a People & Culture Manager at their Beirut office. 

This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. 


Key Responsibilities:

Cultural Development and Maintenance:

Actively define, articulate, and cultivate the company culture in alignment with our core values.

Develop strategies and initiatives to embed the culture across all departments and locations.

Regularly assess the cultural alignment and implement adjustments as necessary.

Employee Engagement and Satisfaction:

Design and execute innovative programs to boost employee morale and job satisfaction.

Conduct regular surveys and focus groups to gauge employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.

Develop recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements and milestones.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

Lead the development and implementation of DEI strategies, ensuring an inclusive and diverse workplace.

Organize training and awareness sessions to promote understanding and acceptance of diversity.

Monitor and report on the progress of DEI initiatives, making adjustments as needed.

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

Collaborate with other department heads to enhance recruitment processes to attract diverse and talented candidates.

Develop and implement retention strategies focusing on career development, employee

satisfaction, and work-life balance.

Establish mentorship and leadership development programs.

Learning and Development:

Oversee the creation and implementation of comprehensive training programs for all levels of staff.

Identify and provide opportunities for professional growth and skill development.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.

Support other heads of department in building and managing their Departmental Succession Plans.

Performance Management:

Refine and manage the performance evaluation process, ensuring it aligns with company objectives and culture.

Facilitate goal-setting and review sessions, offering support and guidance to managers and employees.

Address performance issues with appropriate strategies, including training and development plans.

Wellness and Work-Life Balance:

Develop and promote wellness programs, focusing on mental and physical health.

Advocate for flexible working arrangements and policies that support work-life balance.

Organize wellness events and initiatives, such as health screenings and fitness challenges.

Internal Communications:

Manage internal communication channels to ensure clear, consistent, and effective messaging.

Develop communication strategies that foster transparency and engagement.

Coordinate with different departments to ensure alignment of messages with company values and objectives.

Change Management:

Lead organizational change initiatives, providing guidance and support to staff during transitions.

Develop strategies to manage resistance and increase buy-in for changes.

Evaluate the impact of changes and adjust strategies as necessary.

Conflict Resolution and Feedback Management:

Serve as a mediator in workplace conflicts, ensuring issues are resolved fairly and effectively.

Establish and maintain feedback mechanisms for employees to voice concerns or suggestions.

Analyze feedback to identify patterns and areas for improvement, developing action plans as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

Masters degree is a big plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Proven track record in developing and implementing cultural initiatives.

Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.

Strong understanding of organizational development.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to strategize and implement effective HR policies.

Experience in conflict resolution and employee relations.

Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.

Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees.

Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills.

Attention to detail and good judgment.
