Our Client is one of the leading construction and contracting firms in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Seeking to recruit a new "Treasury Manager" in their head office in Riyadh.
The position will be reporting to the CFO.
Job Brief
We are seeking a Treasury Manager to oversee the finances of our organization. In this role, you will monitor our day-to-day operations, including expenses and incoming cash flow, but your main objective is to develop a strong, long-term financial strategy. This may include making investments on our behalf, dealing with banks and other financial institutions, or amending company policies.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To efficiently measure and manage the treasury function, a Treasury Manager manages a team that performs a wide range of job duties and responsibilities. These include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring and managing the organization's bank relationships and liquidity management
- Managing foreign currency exposure and foreign currency payments
- Analyzing various scenarios and risks and reporting to senior management
- Forecasting of medium and long- term funding and hedging requirements (if applicable)
- Daily cash management
- Debt facilities management
- Interest rate risk management and development of risk mitigation strategies
- Foreign exchange risk management and development of foreign exchange risk mitigation strategies
- Team management
- Preparing management and board reports
- Liaising with senior management across the organization
- Supporting the month end process where necessary
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Experience managing a Treasury Function
- Understanding and experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cashflow and various financial instruments
- Sound understanding of accounting principles
- Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt instruments
- Knowledge of banking relationships and covenants
- Ability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team
- Appropriate handling of sensitive information
- Excellent time management and organizational ability
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills
- Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties
- Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages
- Years of experience from 7 to 10 years
