Job Description: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations of the company across multiple regions. This role demands a high level of expertise in currency management, financial planning, international tax strategies, and regulatory compliance. The CFO is instrumental in driving strategic business planning, optimizing financial efficiency, managing investor relations, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy Development: Formulate and implement the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and driving sustainable growth.
- Currency Management: Lead the development and execution of currency management strategies to optimize foreign exchange transactions and minimize exposure to currency risks across multiple regions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all financial activities comply with international regulatory requirements and optimize tax strategies to maximize efficiency.
- Budgeting and Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Implement a reporting calendar for timely submission of financial insights to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Global Financial Operations: Streamline cross-border financial operations, enhancing financial efficiency and ensuring compliance with varying regulatory environments.
- Investment and Growth Analysis: Provide financial analysis and recommendations for new markets and growth strategies, utilizing investment appraisal techniques to evaluate potential opportunities.
- Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Masters degree in Finance or related field; CFA designation is highly preferred.
Experience: At least 8 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, with a minimum of 3 years in a multinational environment.
Currency Management Expertise: Proven experience in developing and implementing currency management strategies, including hedging and risk mitigation techniques.
Multinational Financial Management: Deep knowledge of managing financial operations across different jurisdictions, including cross-border cash flow management, international tax planning, and regulatory compliance.
