Our client is a leading global consulting firm, helping the world's top businesses, governments and organizations. Looking for a new " Experienced Hire Recruiting Manager" in their Beirut/Dubai office.



This position reports to the Head of Recruiting


Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Drive planning and implementation for experienced hire recruitment from identifying needs and targets through realizing targets
  • Broaden and improve channels for identifying experienced hire profiles (search firms, referrals, re-hires, direct, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Work closely with practice area leads and recruiting points of contact (PoCs) to capture needs, profile briefs and target hires. Maintain ongoing communication (verbal and written) with
  • practice area POCs, keeping them informed of pipeline updates, challenges, etc. and seeking feedback on improvements
  • Engage with search firms, effectively communicating firms value proposition, profile briefs, timelines and targets and follow up to ensure success
  • Manage and ensure positive candidate experience by ensuring timely touchpoints and quick turnarounds
  • Develop and codify screening guidelines for experienced hires to ensure they meet requirements for the role before sharing with the practice area PoCs. Provide PoCs with a summary of the candidate qualification, profile, and suggested level slotting
  • Lead negotiations on behalf of the firm and candidate (through the search firm)
  • Lead improvements on the experienced hiring process/experience by identifying challenges/obstacles in the process with stakeholders (practice/candidate/recruiting), designing and implementing improvements

Analysis/Financials:

  • Identify and remain abreast of regional and global trends in experienced hiring within the management consulting industry. Maintain tracking tools to support with efficient analysis on the impact of such trends on recruitment. Regularly report findings and propose any adjustments to the firms senior hiring approach to Head of Recruiting
  • Assemble and regularly update a competitor mapping, identifying managers and principals within specific practice areas
  • Assemble and regularly update competitor compensation and benefits in the region
  • Maintain candidate profiles on assigned digital tools, e.g., Google Sheets or other ATS
  • Prepare leadership updates on progress of experienced hiring in a timely manner
  • Generate and share reports on experienced hire pipeline, new hires, successful sources, etc., as needed
  • Support with budget planning and expense tracking related to experienced hires, such as search firm fees and other candidate expenses, and monitor actual spend to ensure compliance with budget

Team management:

  • Oversee and manage experienced hire recruiting team
    Up-skill team to improve outcomes on experienced hiring
  • Maintain oversight of and follow-up on overall experienced hire process, ensuring all practice areas receive a high level of support, are kept up to date on pipeline status, and targets are met

Interactions:

  • Build and maintain close relationships with practice area leads and PoCs
  • Build and maintain close relationships with search firms

Capability:

  • Act as the point of contact for the recruitment channel being handled and coordinate with other functional areas of the business
  • Contribute to an environment of teamwork within recruiting team and support other areas as needed

Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Qualifications:

  • University Degree, HR specialization a plus

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, specifically in senior level talent acquisition

  • Experience in a consulting or search firm

  • Proficient in English and Arabic (a plus)
