Our client is a global management consulting firm founded in 2009, offering services in strategy, digital transformation, and financial advisory. Headquartered in Lebanon, it operates across the Middle East, Europe, and Australia, is seeking to hire a Senior Business Analyst at their office in Beirut.

- Sustain the growth and profitability of the consulted firms through development and management of the commercial business and products offering while mitigating risk as per PFC strategy.

Job Objective

- Manage and follow up on prospecting and business development to ensure meeting the set targets and optimizing the customer service level as per PFC policies and procedures.

- Supervise and support the technical analysis process related to the consultancy files in-hand and coordinate with Analysts to evaluate and mitigate related risks as per set policies and procedures.

Main Tasks

Functional Responsibilities

- Receive consultancy files from Technical Team Leader, review, evaluate and assign to team members.

- Support Analysts during the consultancy file study and assist in the preparation process when needed.

- Prioritize analysts work and request urgent files studies and follow up on progress according to set time limit.

- Control the Consultancy file and verify the validity of the documents and coordinate with relevant parties to obtain needed information and documents.

- Discuss recommendations with Technical Team Leader to ensure that the decision meets customers needs and sign the consultancy file as per set procedures.

- Prepare a monthly statistical report of Australia/Lebanon technical files and send to Technical Manager for review.

- Identify cases of non-conformity and escalate to Management for final decision while proposing preventive measures and relevant solutions.

- Execute economic researches to generate the macro-economic outlook and produce research analytics reports.

- Execute and assess industries and sub-industries fundamentals to issue needed financial reports to support the workflow of the entity.

- Submit and discuss weekly a research on the macro and micro economic, market and financial outlook.

- Coordinate timely with Analysts and intervene when necessary to make sure policies and procedures are respected and customers are served promptly.

- Visit customers along with Management when requested in order to better understand customers needs and circumstances and therefore obtain a global view of the relevant file.

- Follow up on team productivity through monthly progress reports and steer the progress towards targets.

- Prepare statistical reports of unit activities, new customers, prospects and portfolio evolution and send to Management.

- Conduct training, handover and knowledge transfer for the second and first level support team

- Evaluate team members, coach, share information and experience in order to optimize their performance.

Managerial Responsibilities

- Develop Entities business/action plan based on directives communicated by direct manager, detailing objectives, time, resources, and related KPIs.

- Distribute roles and responsibilities over team members, and define goals and KPIs according to the agreed action plan.

- Assess and monitor team performance and give appropriate timely feedback to ensure sustained high performance.

- Manage self and team in line with PFC policies and procedures to ensure compliance to regulations, and maximize contribution to PFC bottom line performance

- Develop team members capacity by providing guidance, coaching, and access to training, while attending to and resolving their challenges.

- Build robust professional relationships with team, colleagues, clients, suppliers and stakeholders of PFC

- Generate required regular and ad-hoc reports to direct manager on the status of different activities in the Entity.
