Summary of Position

The Academy Program Specialist is responsible for delivering SB Academy training regularly and ensuring academy programs run smoothly day to day while actively enforcing training quality and standards.

Beyond coordination and delivery, this role acts as a training quality enforcer, observing training delivery, identifying early signs of drift from approved standards, and flagging risks to training quality, readiness, or standards before they impact performance. The role does not create training programs, but delivers approved training, supports trainers, tracks progress, and ensures standards set by the Academy Program Manager are applied consistently and correctly.

Duties & Responsibilities

Training Delivery

  • Deliver SB Academy training programs on a regular basis.
  • Run repeat sessions, refreshers, and scheduled training.
  • Deliver training using approved content and materials only.

Training Coordination

  • Schedule training sessions and manage attendance.
  • Ensure prerequisites are met before training.
  • Coordinate venues, materials, and logistics.

Trainer Support

  • Support ops-based trainers in delivering training.
  • Provide guidance on materials and structure.
  • Escalate issues related to delivery quality or capability.

Tracking & Records

  • Track attendance, assessments, and certifications.
  • Maintain accurate training records in the learning system.
  • Monitor certification expiry and re-training needs.

Feedback & Escalation

  • Collect feedback from trainees and managers.
  • Identify recurring issues or gaps.
  • Escalate improvement needs to the Academy Program Manager.
  • Escalate immediately when training delivery, certification integrity, or learner readiness deviates from Academy standards.

Undertake any other responsibility assigned by your direct Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, HR, Education, or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in training delivery, coordination, or learning operations
  • Comfortable delivering training regularly
  • Strong organisational and follow-up skills
