Job Overview

Mfinite Consulting is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple concurrent technology and enterprise-level projects. The successful candidate will coordinate people and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while effectively communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables

• Develop detailed project plans and work schedules

• Forecast and manage resource requirements

• Estimate and track budgets aligned to project goals

• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategy, risks, and progress

• Manage supplier contracts and deliverables

• Apply industry best practices and standards throughout execution

• Monitor progress and adapt plans as needed

• Manage and maintain project documentation

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks

• Drive process improvements and project evaluations

• Ensure alignment with district-wide initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field

• At least 5 years of IT and business/industry experience

• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing midsize to large teams

• Proven track record managing large-scale software system implementations (e.g., Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP)

• Proficiency in project management tools and collaboration platforms

• Strong strategic planning, change management, and risk management experience

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and team-building skills

• Knowledge of business application and system development life cycles

• Ability to manage complex responsibilities in dynamic environments

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)

• Experience with public K-12 school district or educational data and systems

• Project management experience in large K-12, higher education, or public education environments
