Job Title: PSP Manager / Business Development Manager (FinTech, Remote, Full-Time)

Our client is an international FinTech company with over 8 years of experience making payments faster and more reliable for clients around the world. As the business grows, they are looking for a PSP Manager / BDM to build and scale a network of payment partners, including banks, acquiring platforms, PSPs, and APMs.

Impact & Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and onboard payment solution providers (cards and APMs), leading commercial negotiations (tariffs/MDR, SLAs, limits).
  • Optimize the payment stack: routing/cascading, improve approval rates, reduce fees and chargebacks in collaboration with Risk/Compliance teams.
  • Launch new payment methods (local schemes, wallets, instant payments) and coordinate integrations with Product and Engineering.
  • Manage partner relationships: QBRs, improvement plans, escalations, and incident management.
  • Maintain CRM pipeline, reporting, and forecasting; track KPIs.
  • Participate in business trips to banks/PSPs and attend industry events.

Candidate Profile

  • 3–5+ years of experience in payments, acquiring, or PSP; proven track record of negotiations with banks/providers.
  • Strong understanding of online processing, 3DS/SCA, tokenization, chargebacks, rolling reserve, settlements/FX.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • English required for business negotiations; additional languages are a plus.
  • Advantageous: established network of contacts, experience with API/Hosted Checkout, knowledge of PCI DSS/anti-fraud standards, and familiarity with regional markets (LatAm, Asia, MENA, CIS).

KPIs / Expected Outcomes

  • 30/60/90 days: provider audit optimization plan initial reduced rates/new limits.
  • Build a pipeline of X new PSPs, with at least Y deals at the final negotiation stage.
  • Increase approval rate in key GEOs, reduce MDR/fees, and launch new payment methods within N days.
