About the job Strategic Project Management
mGanik is looking for a Strategic Growth Driver who can go beyond standard sales execution. We need a leader capable of designing the offline expansion blueprint from the ground up. You will be fully responsible for building the foundation, negotiating strategic contracts, and ensuring sustainable growth across national Modern Trade and Pharmacy Chains.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Phase 0: Strategic Project Management (The Blueprint) Before execution, you will be responsible for designing the expansion roadmap, including:
- Expansion Project Management: Developing onboarding timelines, mapping priority target channels, and resource allocation.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Designing an offline market entry strategy that aligns with mGanik's brand positioning.
- Risk & Opportunity Assessment: Analyzing potential listing barriers and competitive opportunities on the retail shelf.
1. Channel Creation (Hunting & Acquisition)
- Identify and map target Modern Trade and PBF (Distributor) channels such as Guardian, Watson, Kimia Farma, Century, and others.
- Lead initial outreach, brand pitching, and product listing negotiations.
2. Commercial & Negotiation Strategy
- Develop competitive pricing structures, distributor & retailer margins, and comprehensive trading terms (listing price, rebates, and promotional schemes).
- Act as the lead negotiator in commercial agreements with Modern Trade buyers.
3. Listing & Launch Execution
- Manage the end-to-end product onboarding process, including SKU listing.
- Act as the internal liaison with SCM, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure contractual compliance and product availability across all channels.
4. Channel Growth & Sales Management
- Take full ownership of sell-in (distributor to outlet) and sell-out (outlet to customer) performance.
- Develop tactical strategies to accelerate sales volume growth in every established channel.
5. Strategic Key Account Management
- Build and maintain high-level strategic relationships with Buyers and Category Managers.
- Conduct periodic Business Reviews to evaluate sales performance and channel profitability.
6. Forecast, Planning & Trade Marketing
- Develop accurate demand projections in coordination with the SCM team.
- Execute on-ground Trade Marketing programs (promos, bundling, displays, and store activations) to ensure brand visibility and consumer conversion.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record in managing Modern Trade and Pharmacy Chains (PBF).
- Extensive experience in direct listing negotiations with Buyers and successfully closing deals with major retail chains.
- Deep understanding of trading terms and distribution structures within the FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of the retailer mindset. Having an existing network or active connections with retail chain buyers is a significant advantage.
