Avionics Technician (Super Puma and/or Panther) - Abu Dhabi

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Position Summary:

We seek a highly qualified Super Puma / Panther Avionics Technician to join our client's aviation maintenance team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will bring extensive military or civil aviation experience, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, multicultural environment. This position will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting the avionics systems of both the Super Puma and Panther platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance of avionics systems, including communication, navigation, flight instruments, and mission-specific equipment on Super Puma and Panther helicopters.

• Use technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and specialized test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

• Perform operational checks and functional testing to ensure airworthiness and mission readiness.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records by aviation regulations and company policies.

• Support system upgrades, modifications, and integration of new avionics technology.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and quality control standards.

• Collaborate with flight crews and other maintenance personnel to meet operational requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• 6 Years of Aircraft Avionic or Electrician experience in Aviation Maintenance.

• 3 years of Electrical Repair experience on Super Puma and/or Panther.

• Licensed and Type Rated on either the Super Puma or Panther.

Preferred Qualifications:

• FAA A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) License and/or Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license or industry equivalent.

• Thorough knowledge using common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in performing maintenance on aircraft.

• Willingness to travel in support of the company's operational requirements.
