About the job Finance Administrator
Role objective and scope:
Provide high quality administrative support and perform
financial service tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities include:
Assistance with managing job cost process including
opening and closing job codes.
Opening and closing work orders.
Assistance with the month end close process.
Generating, uploading and reconciliation of project hours.
Processing journals.
Raising invoices.
Assistance with other data entry tasks.
Review own work for accuracy.
Follow established procedures accurately and carefully.
Attending to email and phone queries from internal and
external stakeholders to ensure queries are actioned in a
minimal timeframe.

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role / industry
Exposure to processing Australian and New Zealand
invoices (preferable)
Sound computer skills - MS Office Suite particularly Word
and Excel.
Experienced user of accounting software (preferably JDE)
High attention to detail
Very competent and confident written and verbal
communication (English)
Competent in mathematics
Ability to work as part of team and seek assistance as
required
Ability to self-manage to ensure that work is completed
efficiently, and deadlines are met
Problem solving and analytical skills
Qualified by experience.
Equivalent of Australian year 12 education as minimum.
Accounting Diploma or equivalent looked on favorably
