Summary:
As a Data Strategy & Analytics Specialist 1, you will be responsible for ingesting, QA'ing, cleaning, transforming, visualizing, and interpreting digital marketing performance data. You will need outstanding problem-solving abilities, comfort with manipulating large sets of data, and excellent English communication skills. This is an exciting, entry-level position that requires strong quantitative skills, a technical mindset, and a desire to be part of a tightly-knit team that's out to change the industry. You will work with and learn from the smartest people in the industry.
What You Will Do:
Manage digital media, third party, and client data across multiple clients.
Unify and translate large sets of data from different data sources into cross-channel visualizations, dashboards, and reports for both Kepler and client usage, tailoring them to your clients unique business objectives and needs
Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business and marketing goals, leveraging analytics to advance these goals.
Develop data visualizations (e.g., Datorama, Looker, PowerPoint) for brands and any back-end functionality, as well as custom client-facing reports as needed.
Help identify data discrepancies and possible problems with campaign tracking or reporting infrastructure.
Become an expert in the digital marketing ecosystem and in media analytics tools across digital channels, including display (banner ads), mobile (smartphone, tablet), search (Google, Bing), social (Facebook, Twitter) and online video (Hulu, YouTube), among others.
Become an expert in Kepler's proprietary software suite and AI capabilities.
Learn about testing and custom analysis techniques to measure the impact of digital media campaigns and generate actionable insights for our clients.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Must Have:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interest (or experience) in marketing and digital media analytics (including display, mobile, social and search)
Comfort with MS Excel and large sets of data, with the ability to think creatively about challenging problems.
Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
Strong proficiency with SQL.
Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities, and pay strong attention to detail.
Ability to contribute to an entrepreneurial, team-based environment.
Nice to Have:
University degree.
Online advertising experience (e.g., Google Ads/Search Ads 360, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, etc.).
Experience working with Salesforce Datorama or similar reporting software such as Looker Studio, PowerBI, or Tableau.
Knowledge of programming languages to aid in analysis (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
