The Student Success Coach at Builders Academy Australia plays a vital role in our commitment to student achievement. This role is focused on guiding students from the beginning of their course through to graduation. The Student Success Coach will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to students, ensuring they remain engaged and motivated throughout their educational journey. This includes monitoring student attendance, tracking assessment submissions, and arranging additional support sessions as needed. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, adept at building strong relationships, and skilled in fostering a positive and motivational learning environment.

1. Student Monitoring and Support: Track and monitor student attendance and assessment submissions, identifying students who may need additional support.
2. One-on-One Coaching: Provide personalised coaching and mentoring to students, focusing on academic progress, goal setting, and overcoming barriers to success.
3. Additional Support Coordination: Schedule and coordinate further support sessions for students, including tutoring, study groups, or workshops, as necessary.
4. Motivational Guidance: Act as a source of inspiration and motivation for students, encouraging them to stay focused on their goals and maintain their academic momentum.
5. Progress Tracking: Regularly assess and report on student progress, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
6. Communication and Engagement: Maintain regular and effective communication with students through various channels, fostering a supportive community.
7. Feedback and Improvement: Collect and analyse student feedback to continuously improve the support and resources offered.
8. Collaboration with Academic Staff: Work closely with trainers and academic staff to align support efforts with course objectives and student needs.
9. End to End Assistance: Assist all active students with any support requirements relating to their enrolment, ensuring a smooth and impactful learning experience.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to motivate and inspire students.

· Experience with data tracking and reporting.

· Knowledge of educational principles and learning strategies is highly regarded but not essential.

· Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field is highly regarded but not essential.

· Experience in student support, coaching, or mentoring in an educational setting is highly regarded but not essential.

  • Student Engagement Rates: Level of active student participation in courses and support programs.
  • Assessment Submission Rates: Frequency and timeliness of student assessment submissions.
  • Student Attendance: Regularity of student attendance in classes and support sessions.
  • Graduation Rates: Number of students successfully completing and graduating from their courses.
  • Student Satisfaction: Feedback and satisfaction levels from students regarding the support received.
  • Student Contact Rates: Frequency and quality of the interactions with students, including check-ins, progress updates, and responsiveness to student inquiries.
