Purpose of the Role

The Operational Excellence & Retail Support Lead is accountable for driving

operational excellence, compliance, and retail support functions for United

Petroleums Australian network. The role leads a Philippines-based team covering

compliance, analytics, POS, customer service, master data, reporting, and

administration. This position ensures seamless integration with corporate objectives

while delivering high-quality operational outcomes, enhancing customer experience,

and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountabilities

Operational Excellence & Compliance

Lead audits and compliance activities, tracking and closing Operational

Excellence and HSSE audits.

Maintain Safety Culture audit platform and perform follow-ups, including CCTV

reviews.

Engage with RPLs and CAs on failed or underperforming sites, highlighting

opportunities and resolving recurring issues.

Generate integrated reports and dashboards to track compliance and operational

performance.

Retail Support & Operational Leadership

Oversee and advance strategic direction and daily operations of the offshore

retail support team.

Support multiple departments (POS, Customer Service, Analytics, Reporting,

Master Data, Compliance, Administration) ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and

exceptional service across all brands.

Implement disciplined processes, measurement practices, and data-led decision-

making to drive ROI and operational improvement.

Support escalations, complex queries, and quality assurance initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, coach, and develop a multi-skilled team, balancing hands-on execution

with strategic oversight.

Set daily, weekly, and monthly priorities, ensuring delivery against agreed

timelines.

Foster a high-performing, customer-focused, and collaborative team culture.

Stakeholder Engagement

Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, including RPLs,

GM Operations, GM Merchandise, and senior management.

Collaborate with product, operations, property, compliance, maintenance, and IT

teams to drive efficiency and alignment with corporate goals.

Present initiatives, strategies, and performance insights to senior management.

Reporting & Analytics

Prepare weekly, monthly, seasonal, and ad-hoc reports covering operational

excellence, compliance outcomes, and retail support performance.

Provide insights based on metrics, trends, ROI, and risk assessments to inform

decision-making.
