We are seeking an energetic Outbound Telesales Specialist – Card to join our expanding team to grow the portfolio of new customers to the United brand. You will be responsible for acquiring new business through outbound calling to both supplied and self-initiated sources and providing professional solution based sales to all potential United Card customers.
Our ideal candidate is an energetic, motivated, and collaborative professional who can join a supportive team that drives for excellence. This requires the person to be flexible, responsive with a professional telephone manner and a can-do attitude at all times. This position demands that all customer conversations are handled with a professional phone manner with a focus being to provide exceptional service at all times.
This is a new business telesales role, ideal for a candidate that has had previous experience in inside sales.
You will be responsible for:
- Outbound sales calls to designated geographical areas and industries and
- Outbound sales calls to support and capitalise on new-site openings
- Sending presentations for customers
- Meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPI's on a consistent basis
- Meeting all call objective targets set in relation to outbound calls
- Logging and management of all Sales Prospects into the CRM database at point of contact
- Working closely with the Telesales Manager, Credit & Customer Service Manager to maximise sales outcomes
- Other duties as required
Key Selection Criteria, Qualifications & Experience
Skills/Experience Required:
- Exceptional phone manner and active listening skills.
- Computer literate – Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet daily call target / acquisition targets
- Ability to deal with difficult calls and escalate where appropriate
- Knowledge of ZOHO CRM (not mandatory but beneficial)
