Your Role:
As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain Microsoft Fabric solutions including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and Pipelines.
- Develop and optimize SQL-based data transformations to deliver analytics-ready datasets.
- Build and manage Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for Microsoft Fabric and Power BI using Git and Azure DevOps.
- Manage Fabric deployment pipelines across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
- Define and maintain workspace governance, access controls, and enterprise data standards.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into trusted analytics and reporting solutions.
- Document architecture designs, data logic, technical processes, and operational standards.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics engineering, or data engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills for data transformation and data modelling.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and workspace management.
- Experience managing semantic models, dashboards, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Ability to work independently and take ownership as an individual contributor.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Experience with Fabric Git integration and deployment pipelines.
- Exposure to CI/CD practices and Azure DevOps.
- Microsoft Fabric or Power BI certifications.
- Experience with enterprise data governance frameworks and standards.
- Familiarity with OneLake, Dataflows Gen2, and Fabric deployment pipelines.
- Experience working in scalable analytics and reporting environments.
