Civil Drafter

Job Responsibilities

Describe the job role and the day to day tasks involved.

• General AutoCAD drafting for urban development/civil projects assisting the NSW drafting team.
• Working off Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), ProjectWise and other cloud platforms.
• - Work alongside Drafting team lead to assist with drafting tasks.

Qualifications

Describe the qualifications the staff must have in terms of skills and capabilities

• AutoCAD and Civil drafting experience at least 3 years in both
• - Sound working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Knowledge of x-ref workflows

Prior Experience

Describe the prior working experience a candidate should have.

Previously worked for another engineering consultancy in a drafting role

3 years + of AutoCAD experience

3 years + of civil drafting technical experience.

Provide examples of previous experience with:

Essential:

• Architectural/urban designer clean up and adjusting to project coordinate system
• Stormwater plan and long sections
• OSD tanks
• Water quality
• Bulk Earthworks
• Erosion & sedimentation plans
• Site & retaining wall

Nice to have:

• Working with Nearmap imagery
• Dial before you dig
• Pavement drainage
• In-ground Services coordination
• Signage

• - As we are setting this up purely an outsourcing centre, the feedback of their local drafting lead and Araj Lal will carry most weight.
